Today we are going to introduce an assembly process of monochrome dot matrix COG LCD module for industrial equipment.

First thing first, let me explain the specialities of this COG LCD module. Usually, the connection methods of LED backlight are wire, metal PIN, PCB with hard PIN, etc. We can see there is a big black conductive and adhesive film on the surface of LED backlight and a small black conductive and adhesive film on the FPC of the LCD display.  We assemble these two black films together and it means that the LED backlight and the LCD display both use the same FPC. Let’s see the assembly process.

First, remove the protection film on the surface of LED backlight and the protection film from the back of the LCD display. Assemble the two black films together and assemble the LED backlight and the LCD display together.

Second, quality test. Check if there is any fault.

Third, labeling and visual inspection.

Fourth, packing.
