What are High Brightness Bar-Type LCD Modules?
They are large-format, long and narrow LCD modules using a direct-lit LED-array backlight in an aluminum housing for OEM integration. Matching controller boards, frames, enclosures and Android playback systems can be specified as additional configurations.
Which panel dimension can be cut?
The short-side dimension can be reduced to create a bar-type format. The original long-side dimension remains unchanged and cannot be cut in this product route. Feasible dimensions depend on the selected source panel and engineering review.
Does up to 98 inches describe the finished bar display?
The 98-inch figure refers to the diagonal size of the source panel before cutting. Finished bar dimensions, active area and resolution are confirmed separately.
Is 98 inches a technical cutting limit?
No. Source panels up to 98 inches define our practical commercial project range. Larger source panels generally make cutting economically unattractive; 98 inches is not presented as a technical ceiling.
Can the backlight brightness be customized?
Yes. The direct-lit backlight uses a small LED array in an aluminum structure, with reflective film around the emitters and interior perimeter. LED quantity and layout can be configured for the target brightness, with optical uniformity, power and thermal review. Brightness changes and supported short-side resizing have no tooling fee and a customization MOQ of 500 units.
How is this different from Bar Type TFT LCD Displays?
Our Bar Type TFT LCD Displays range primarily covers existing small-format OEM modules with established dimensions and backlight structures. This high-brightness range focuses on suitable source panels, short-side cutting and a custom aluminum backlight structure.
Does the module include a complete monitor enclosure?
The aluminum backlight housing is part of the module structure. A complete monitor enclosure, installation frame, controller board, touchscreen, protective glass, mirror glass, speakers and stand are included only when specified in the quotation.
Can you supply open frame monitors or Android signage?
Yes. Project configurations include High Brightness Bar-Type Open Frame Monitors, High Brightness Bar-Type Monitors and High Brightness Stretched Bar Digital Signage. These are delivery options within the same product range.
What brightness and resolution are available?
Brightness, signal interfaces, controller, power supply and other electrical specifications can be customized. Reference resolutions are listed in the selection table; alternative panel formats and resolutions require engineering confirmation.
Are these modules waterproof?
A basic LCD module does not provide a complete weather-protected enclosure. Outdoor use requires a separately engineered enclosure, front protection and thermal design appropriate to the installation. Front-panel or full-enclosure protection, the IP rating and wet-touch operation are confirmed for the selected configuration.
What information do you need for a quotation?
Provide the available installation width and height, required active area, target brightness, environment, operating hours, signal input or Android requirement, mounting method, optional touch or glass, quantity, destination and schedule.
Is 21.5 inches the minimum finished bar-display size?
No. Around 21.5 inches and above describes a typical source-panel starting point before cutting, not a strict technical minimum or the finished bar-display diagonal. The exact panel, long-side dimension and finished short-side dimensions require engineering review.
Should I choose an existing large bar module or a custom-cut module?
This range primarily supports custom projects. We review the installation dimensions, brightness, interfaces and delivery configuration together. Standard versions can also be selected when suitable. Custom short-side resizing is subject to source-panel feasibility; the original long side remains unchanged.
What are the tooling fee and MOQ for brightness changes or width reduction?
For large-format High Brightness Bar-Type LCD Modules, brightness changes and supported width reduction through short-side cutting have no tooling fee. The customization MOQ is 500 units. The original long-side dimension remains unchanged.
What are the customization terms for small Bar Type TFT LCD Displays?
Small-size Bar Type TFT LCD Displays use a light-guide plate and are generally not cut. Brightness changes require light-guide-plate redesign first, and width reduction is difficult. Tooling costs are typically tens of thousands of RMB, with a customization MOQ of 20,000–30,000 units; smaller-size modules require at least 50,000 units.
Can you supply complete High Brightness Stretched Bar Digital Signage?
Yes. A complete signage configuration can include a large-format stretched LCD, high-brightness direct-lit backlight, finished enclosure, controller and integrated Android or external playback system. Mounting, front glass, touch, network connectivity, software and CMS compatibility are confirmed for the selected project.
Which catalogue diagonal sizes are available?
The supplied selection table covers 19.5–88 inches across 26 mechanical configurations. Select by resolution, display area, assembly outline, mounting and touch version. Brightness, interfaces and electrical configuration can be customized for the project.
